There are many reasons why you may want to schedule your posts. For one thing we are all very busy people and sometimes more than others. So this is a great way to plan ahead. You should always have a plan for your blog anyway and this is another thing you can add to that plan.
Schedule your posts
You may choose to always have your posts launch on the same day or if you’re an avid blogger your categories may have a specific date and time they go live. You don’t want to be a slave to your blogging practice so scheduling will help keep your processes running smoothly. Planning a vacation but don’t want your audience to know you left town? Schedule post for while you’re away.
How to schedule your posts in WordPress
This is very easy once you know how. Start by adding your post but don’t Publish. In the “Publish” area to the right click “Edit” next to Publish Immediately. Set the date and time and hit the OK button. You will notice the Publish button is now a Schedule button. Click Schedule and you’re done.
Be consistent with the times you post so that your readers become accustom to your schedule. The most successful blogs are consistent, make a plan and stick to it. If you make it a habit you will soon be blogging regularly without the procrastination.
